About Us

At Blue Dragonfly, our mission is to provide a safe and supportive space for survivors of human trafficking to heal, grow, and reclaim their independence. Through our comprehensive services, we strive to empower those affected by trafficking by addressing their physical, emotional, and practical needs.

Our Drop-In Center

Our drop-in center is a sanctuary where survivors are welcomed with dignity and respect. Here, they can access essential resources such as nourishing meals, hygiene products, and clothing vouchers. We understand the importance of providing basic necessities that support recovery, and we are dedicated to meeting those needs.

Our workstations are designed to support educational and employment goals, enabling individuals to pursue opportunities for personal growth, skill-building, and financial independence. Whether it's preparing for the job market or furthering their education, our center fosters an environment that encourages empowerment and self-sufficiency.

Survivor Advocates & Personalized Support

Every woman who comes to us is paired with a committed survivor advocate. These advocates play a crucial role in guiding and empowering survivors through their recovery journey. With the help of our advocates, survivors can access personalized support tailored to their unique circumstances.

Our advocacy services also extend to assisting survivors with critical tasks such as navigating court hearings, accessing trauma-informed mental health care, and securing referrals for transitional housing. We are committed to ensuring that each individual receives the resources and support they need to regain control over their lives and begin the process of healing.

Coordinated Care

We take a holistic approach to recovery, offering coordinated care that addresses all aspects of a survivor's journey. Our services go beyond immediate needs, providing referrals for vital services such as:

  • Counseling: Trauma-informed therapy and mental health services to aid in the emotional and psychological recovery process.

  • Transitional Housing: Safe and stable housing to support survivors as they work toward long-term independence.

  • Medical Care: Access to health services, ensuring that survivors receive the medical attention they need.

  • Documentation Recovery: Assistance in recovering lost or stolen identification and essential documents.

  • Food, Clothing, and Hygiene Essentials: Meeting the basic needs of survivors through ongoing support.

By addressing both immediate and long-term needs, we help survivors rebuild their lives in a supportive, empowering environment. Our vision is to ensure that every woman who walks through our doors has the tools, resources, and hope to move forward with strength and resilience.

Our Vision

Looking ahead, we aim to expand our services with the opening of a Transitional Home in 2025, providing survivors with a safe place to live while they work towards stability and independence. This home will offer a comprehensive support system, allowing individuals to continue their journey of recovery in an environment where they can thrive.
